Terrance J. Keenan, Jr.
JD

Financial Advisor

NEW IBERIA

After earning his B.S. in business administration/finance, Terry Keenan began working at Accenture, where he consulted with Fortune 500 clients, with a specific focus on their financial systems. After eight years at Accenture, Terry pursued a long-held desire to earn a law degree. After passing the Washington state bar exam in 2006, he took a position with a law firm in Seattle, where his practice focused on litigation, real estate, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights.

Terry worked at the law firm for eight years, where he consulted on a variety of legal and financial issues. He then decided to shift his focus to providing financial advisory services. “I realized that my real passion lay in helping individuals meet their financial goals,” he recalls, “and decided to hit the books again and get licensed to serve as a financial advisor.” After earning his Series 7 and 66 certifications, he has been advising wealth management clients at Darnall Sikes Wealth Partners since 2015. He serves reinsurance clients nationally as well as local clients.

As a financial advisor, I can make an impact on an individual’s life, based on what they tell me they want to accomplish. Having an opportunity to sit down and talk with someone about how they want to live their life, how they want to retire and the legacy they want to leave — I find it’s a much more rewarding way to spend my energy.

— Terry Keenan
